English football has pulled off a rare continental sweep, with Arsenal, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace all booking places in the finals of UEFA’s three club competitions in the same season.

Arsenal led the charge after edging Atlético Madrid 2-1 on aggregate to secure a place in the UEFA Champions League final. The result capped a tight semi-final tie and sent the North London side back into Europe’s biggest match.

Aston Villa followed with a dramatic turnaround in the Europa League. Unai Emery’s team overturned a first-leg deficit against Nottingham Forest to win 4-1 on aggregate, sealing a deserved place in the final in Istanbul.

Crystal Palace completed the English dominance by advancing to the UEFA Conference League final after a 2-1 second-leg win over Shakhtar Donetsk. That result confirmed a 3-1 aggregate victory and a first-ever European final appearance for the club.

It is the first time in history that Premier League clubs have reached all three UEFA finals in a single season, underlining the growing depth and competitiveness of English sides across Europe.

Attention now shifts to the finals, where Arsenal, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace will each look to turn a historic achievement into silverware and further stamp Premier League authority on European football.
