EPL: Amorim gives Rashford, Antony new positions

Ruben-Amorim (1)

Manchester United head coach, Ruben Amorim, has given an idea of what his team could look like.

Amorim hopes to give Antony a new lease of life by playing him as a wing-back, while Marcus Rashford is anticipated to play as a striker.

The 39-year-old led his first training session this week, although with a restricted team owing to the international break.

But Amorim is eager to integrate some of his ideas, with players like Rashford and Luke Shaw present, alongside returning youngsters Leny Yoro and Kobbie Mainoo.

According to The Sun, one of Amorim’s more startling decisions was placing Antony, a conventional winger, as a wing-back.

The Portuguese tactician also deployed Rashford as the central striker, aiming to leverage his finishing skills and speed.
