Former Military Administrator of Delta State, Air Commodore Luke Ochulor (rtd), said he expects that the recent visit of President Bola Tinubu to Enugu State should be beneficial to the whole of South East and not one state, alone.

The elder statesman, who has been outspoken about the release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was equally upbeat that the visit will lead to his eventual freedom this year.

“The greatest problem we have is insecurity in Nigeria, we expect that his visit will tackle the insecurity in the zone, let his visit be for the entire South East and not a particular state.

“Also, it’s important that his visit should also address the release of Nnamdi Kanu. Let him release him so that the insecurity in the South East will stop; release him, he can be controlled, we have natural disasters as problems already, let us not add humans,” Ochulor pleaded.
