The Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah is set to be honored at the 4th edition of the Africa Value Awards an Award that continually celebrates Africans Making great impacts and promoting excellence in the continent, which is scheduled to hold on the 12th November 2024 at the prestigious Abuja Continental Hotel.
The Governor has distinguished himself in championing entrepreneurship development especially with the commencement of the Enugu State garment and fashion hub as well as the 5th Expanded National Micro Small and Medium Scale Enterprises Clinics which are all geared to boost MSMEs in the state.
At a press briefing, Mr Kingsley J Dakorubo, the Executive Director of VARDIAFRICA, organisers of African Enterpreneurs and Investors Roundtable-AFEIR and Africa Value Awards-AVA, stated that the event was designed to recognize outstanding Individuals and organisations that have made meaningful contributions towards advancing entrepreneurship, human capital as well as social development.

He reiterated the importance of entrepreneurship as a key antidote for the scourge of unemployment, crime and poverty as he encouraged Opinion leaders, Government and private institutions, religious leaders and all relevant stakeholders to keep propounding the message of entrepreneurship and investment drive to boost the domestic economy.
He also used the medium to congratulate the Enugu State Governor, as well as other Awardees for their nominations saying they were well deserved. Among the nominees are Ayodele Olawande, the Honorable Minister of State for Youth Development, Hannatu Musa Musawa the Honorable Minister of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy and Ace Nigerian Actor/Movie producer Dr Uzee Usman.
