From Jude Chinedu Enugu

The Senator representing Enugu East Senatorial zone, Kelvin Chukwu, has flagged off the construction of the 7.7 kilometer Agbani-Amurri-Ugbawka rural road.

Speaking during the flag-off ceremony in Agbani, Chukwu said that work will soon commence on two more rural roads within the senatorial zone, adding that it was a new dawn for his constituents.

He said: “I can assure you that we’re just getting started and in the coming months, two more roads will be flagged off in Nkanu land. We don’t talk too much but want our actions to speak for us after four years.”

“We are aware that this road will enhance connectivity, promote economic activities and improve the overall quality of life of the people. Before now, we did not know that there are so many opportunities that can be used to better the lives of our people. But when we got there, we saw that we can do so much for our people.

“After four years, everyone will see the difference between what we have done and what the other people who have been there before were able to do. The welfare of the people is our priority this time around and that is why things will be different.

“There are concrete plans to improve healthcare, give the youths a new leaf of life, improve education and promote ideas that will enhance the economic situation of our people.
