The Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in the 2023 general election, Chief Chijioke Edeoga, has returned to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Edeoga, who left the PDP for LP after failing to secure its governorship ticket, finished second in the election behind Governor Peter Mbah.
He is currently at the PDP Secretariat in Enugu, where he is expected to formally announce his return to the party.
