Enugu govt, firm to create 10,000 jobs for youths

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has expressed the readiness of his administration to partner with a private transport firm, Lead Travel Services, to create over 10,000 jobs and raise the investment opportunities in the state.

The governor, who stated this weekend, while inaugurating a new transport company in Enugu, said the state
remains the most investment friendly state in the country and South East in particular, having been recently adjudged number one state in ease-of-doing business by the 2018 World Bank Report.

Represented at the occasion by the Secretary to the State Government, Elder Gabriel Ajah, Ugwuanyi said: “I have come here because of the premium this administration places on private initiative, which is very, very strategic to our economy.

Since it has become obvious that no government drives the economy alone, it also provides the enabling environment for other private investors to thrive.
