A real estate company, Nze Vantures Home Ltd, has donated N2 million to support students in Enugu develop entrepreneurship skills and practical learning.

The announcement was made at the student business summit, organised by the Michael Anike Foundation at the International Conference Centre, Enugu.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of the firm, represented by the Operations Manager, Arinze Ngwu, said the gesture was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility to encourage students to embrace self-reliance and become job creators rather than job seekers.

He explained that the N2 million fund would be channelled through the organisers to strengthen the summit, which he described as an incubation platform, benefiting students from various tertiary institutions across the state.

He commended Governor Peter Mbah for creating an enabling environment for innovation and entrepreneurship, stressing that partnerships between the public and private sectors were vital for sustainable development.

“We want young people to understand that opportunities are everywhere. What matters is how you position yourself to take advantage of them. This programme is one of those platforms where ideas can grow into reality,” he said.

He further encouraged students to explore opportunities in the company’s real estate projects at Ogbeke and Amokpo Nike, adding that Nze Ventures Home Ltd remains committed to youth empowerment.

“Our company believes that when students are empowered with the right skills and guidance, they will not only improve their lives but also help in building stronger and more prosperous communities,” he added.

Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Onyemaechi Onah, thanked the firm for its generous support, describing the donation as a major boost to the vision of the summit.

He assured that the funds would be judiciously utilised and expressed hope that the gesture would inspire other corporate organisations to invest in youth development.
