Enugu community lauds Mbah’s development strides at 53

The people of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese ancient kingdom in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, have praised Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu State for his remarkable leadership since assuming office, particularly for granting them the opportunity to have their first traditional ruler in over 24 years.

The traditional ruler of the community, Igwe Aloysius Ogbonna, conveyed this message yesterday in a goodwill statement, congratulating the governor on his 53rd birthday.

Igwe Ogbonna noted that Governor Mbah’s administration had brought joy, peace and progress to the people of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese. He specifically acknowledged the successful conduct of their long-awaited traditional leadership election, which restored their cultural structure and strengthened unity among the people.

The monarch further appreciated the governor for initiating impactful projects in the community, noting that the ongoing construction of a Type 2 hospital in Ogugu Ntu-egbenese reflects the government’s focus on improving the lives of rural dwellers. He noted that the project, when completed, would greatly enhance healthcare access for the people.

Praying for God’s guidance and protection upon Mbah, the monarch expressed the collective support of his people to the governor’s vision of repositioning Enugu State for greater heights.
