An Ogun State-based entrepreneur, Muraina Banjoko, has disclosed why he is eyeing the Ogun Central Senatorial District seat at the National Assembly in 2027.
According to Banjoko, he is aspiring to unseat the incumbent senator representing the senatorial district, Salis Afolabi Shuaib during the next general elections in order to use the legislative platform to continue impacting positively and help the socio-economically disadvantaged members of the society.
The real estate mogul and chairman of Threeco Construction Company, who stated this while addressing select stakeholders and support groups at a grassroots gathering in Ifo, Ifo Local Government Area of the state, explained that his ambition is driven by a deep-seated passion for service, philanthropy, and advocacy for the uplift of the downtrodden in the society. He emphasised that his journey into politics is an extension of his lifelong commitment to humanitarian service.
