“Enough is Enough”, Group calls for suspension of #EndBadGovernance protests

August 1 protest

The Arewa Revival Project, a non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting peace and development in Nigeria, urgently calls on the leaders of the #EndBadGovernance protests to suspend their actions immediately. This call follows the successful negotiation between the National Civil Societies Council of Nigeria and the Government for dialogue.

Regrettably, the ongoing protests have resulted in the loss of lives, destruction of properties, and disruption of economic activities in many states. We cannot afford to continue down this path of violence and bloodshed.

In light of the Government’s willingness to engage in dialogue, we appeal to the protest leaders to halt their actions and work towards a peaceful resolution. Let us prioritize the sanctity of human life, the protection of properties, and the well-being of our nation.

We urge all parties to embrace this opportunity for dialogue and work towards a constructive solution to address the grievances of the protesters.
