Following the recent protest by the youths, tagged #EndSARS, its eventual hijack by hoodlums and the attendant destruction that characterised the exercise, a group of concerned stakeholders in Nigeria are partnering the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Oyunba Gani Adams, to forestall a recurrence.

The group led by former president of Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), Dan Ngerem, made their mission known yesterday during a courtesy visit to the palace of the Adams. He said the focus of the meeting was on how to positively engage the youths and harness their talent with a view to forestalling another #EndSARS protest in the country.
In his remarks, Adams commended the team and assured them of his support. He noted that what happened in the wake of the protests was unfortunate as hoodlums hijacked the peaceful protests and went on to destroy property and lives.
