General (rtd) Mohammad Magoro and High Chief of Zuru Emirate has noted that the enthronement of the new Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Sanusi Mika’ilu Gomo III has united all the Kebbi South Senatorial district.
Magoro,who stated this during the maiden courtesy visit of the Emir to the State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris in Birnin Kebbi,said that the action of the Governor to upheld the election results of the kingmakers have proven that the Governor would always be with the people.
The retired General,who is also Galadima Zuru, disclosed that all stakeholders from Yauri Emirate decided to come with Emir Zuru to thank him for upheld the choice of the people.
According to him, ” We are here to thank the Governor for the love you have for the people of Zuru Emirate. Apart from the appointment of the new Emir for Zuru Emirate,alot of roads and capital projects are on going in the our domain.
“We cannot forget in hurry how you sponsored our late Emir to London hospital for medical treatment. Initially,you asked him if he will prefer to go to Indian or London and the late Emir picked London. You also sponsored the death body of the Emir back to Nigeria and to Zuru town. What else can we say than to stay with you,your government.
“You did not allowed external influence to determine the appointment of the new Emir. Again,our road from Koko-Mahuta- Dabai which has been abandoned for a long time is now under construction.

“This is historical visit to the state capital by both Zuru and Yauri Emirate. It has not happened like this in the past. All of us are here because of our new Emir. Your Excellency,we are grateful and overwhelmed”,.
Magoro urged the people of Kebbi South Senatorial district especially the entire people of Zuru to support the administration of Governor Idris and his policies,stressed that, ” he is the Governor with good heart to the masses”.
In his remark, Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris who appreciated the visit of the two Emirates in honour of the new Emir of Zuru, noted that he had to understudied his track records before he gave final approval for his appointment.
Idris explained that,his administration would continue to work and serve the people of the state irrespective of their zones stressed that he has awarded the contract for the purchase of modern equipments for the Zuru General Hospital to stop incident transfer of patients from the town to the state capital.
He advised the people of Zuru Emirate not to be used by the opposition party, stressed that within his two years in office,no Emirate have not felt the impact of the government.
Earlier,the Secretary to the Kebbi State Government,Alhaji Yakubu Bala ,who is also from Yauri,commended the State Governor for the appointment of the Emir of Zuru stressed that many stakeholders from Yauri decided to join the Emir’s entourage for his courtesy visit because the two Emirates are cousins.
The visit was witnessed by the Managing Director of HYPPADEC,Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa who is from Yauri and other traditional title holders from Yauri Emirate.
