In a birthday message in Abuja, Emereonye hailed Ohuabunwa as a professional giant, trailblazer, industrialist, boardroom leader and statesman.
He said Ohuabunwa’s career demonstrated how professional knowledge could be transformed into entrepreneurship, wealth creation and economic value, particularly through his contributions to Nigeria’s pharmaceutical industry.
According to him, Ohuabunwa expanded the frontiers of pharmacy by showing that pharmacists could excel in manufacturing, business, corporate leadership and national development.
Emereonye described him as one of Nigeria’s foremost pharmapreneurs, whose journey has inspired younger professionals to see education as a springboard for innovation and enterprise.

“True leadership involves not only identifying the problems confronting a country but also offering oneself for the responsibility of finding solutions,” he said.
Emereonye noted that Ohuabunwa’s numerous honours, including FPSN, FPCPharm, FNAPharm, MON, OFR and NPOM, reflected his contributions to pharmacy, business and national development.
He described the celebrant as a fine gentleman, mentor and pragmatic leader whose experience continues to inspire younger professionals and entrepreneurs.
