Two hours after after commencement of election nationwide, electorates in Enugu, especially the metropolis are yet to see officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and materials at their various pooling centers.

Electorate have come out to their various centres as early as 7am and are multiplying by the minutes.

Expressing their disappointment with INEC over such lateness, one of the electorate waiting at St Paul’s Church Chinatown polling centre, Dr. Emeka Ano, said they are not happy that INEC is by its action killing the enthusiasm of the people.

He said, “I came here since 7am, and it is 10.02am now and there is no trace of INEC and material, you can see the crowd here and many are still coming. We don’t even know whether we are voting here or not and we are not happy.”
