Thousands of eligible voters risked being disenfranchised at polling unit 012 located at CBN junction, Karu site Abuja, following the absence of INEC officials at the polling unit.
Although INEC has fixed 8:30 am as the official voting hour, there are no INEC officials on ground as at 10am.

Speaking on the development, a prospective voter, Barr. Mike Ugwuanyi said, “the problem we are having here is INEC. The voters are ready and have turned out here by 8am to vote. But here we are waiting for INEC officials and its already 10 am.
The voters are ready, the observers are here too. This is polling unit 012, CBN Junction, Karu site, Abuja. There are no INEC officials here. They set up a canopy but apart from the canopy we saw here, there is no other thing.
This is worrisome. We are being denied by INEC of the opportunity to vote. INEC officials assigned to this polling unit are not here at all. Who ever that is in charge should please act fast because we are getting impatient.
