Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-rufai has formally joined the coalition African Democratic Congress (ADC), having tendered his resignation from the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
He has equally picked a membership card of the ADC from his ward at Ungwan Sarki area of Kaduna city.

In his letter of resignation addressed to the chairman of the SDP, Kaduna State chapter, which was sighted by journalists read in part, “I wish to notify you that I have resigned my membership of the SDP, effective 26 November 2025. My focus remains on making my contributions to strengthening a unified democratic platform to offer a political alternative to the people of Nigeria”.
Also, a post on Facebook handle of ADC says, “Alhamdulillh Malam Nasir El-Rufai officially registered as an ADC member and picked up his membership Card at Unguwar Sarki ward, Kaduna State.”
