Former Barcelona president, Joan Gaspart has criticised Real Madrid captain, Daniel Carvajal over his El Clasico confrontation with Lamine Yamal.
Xabi Alonso’s side triumphed 2-1 in Sunday’s tension-soaked encounter.
Yamal sparked outrage among Real Madrid players going into the game, claiming the capital club “steal and complain”.
Carvajal confronted Yamal, sparking the brief altercation that ended the match.

Gaspart said Yamal was bound to make mistakes due to his age and it was for Barcelona captains and manager to set him straight, not up to Carvajal.
He said, “Who is Carvajal to lecture him? He was a great player, but his time has passed.
“Why should Lamine call him to apologize if his words were not even directed at Carvajal?”
However, Gaspart maintained that the dispute was not that deep, predicting that both would shake hands during their next national team assignment.
