Legendary Arsenal manager, Arsène Wenger, has questioned Barcelona’s maturity following their 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid in a tight El Clásico match on Sunday.

Wenger described the contest as “men vs. boys.”

Kylian Mbappé scored first, while Fermin López levelled for Barcelona. Jude Bellingham then scored the winner to put Madrid five points clear at the top of La Liga.

“Xabi Alonso balanced his team well today,” Wenger said on beIN Sports.

“Overall, I would say that it was a bit like men against boys in some departments.

“The defensive performance of Real Madrid was much stronger than the defensive performance of Barcelona.”
