Ekiti guber: Endorsement Committee unveils LOCs in all LGAs for Oyebanji’s re-election

Ahead of the 2026 governorship election in Ekiti State, massive mobilisation of the people of the state for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election bid is set to commence as Chairmen of Local Organising Committees (LOCs) for all the sixteen Local Government Areas( LGAs) of the state have been selected.

 

A statement made available to newsmen by the General Secretary of the LOCs, Rt. Hon. Karounwi Oladapo, entitled, “BAO State Endorsement Local Organising Committees”, explained that the LOCs mobilisation committees were set up for “effective coordination and mobilisation of people for the State Endorsement activities at the various Local Governments.”

 

Comprising top state government functionaries, political leaders, and all the LGA councillors, the LOC Chairmen include the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Habibat Adubiaro for Ado-Ekiti LGA, the State’s Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon Taiwo Olatunbosun for Irepodun-lfelodun LGA.

 

Others are, Rt. Hon. Karounwi Oladapo- Efon, Hon. Ojo Atibioke- ljero, Hon. Bode-Adeoye Oyekola Johnson -Ekiti West, Hon. Odunayo Omoadura- lkole, Hon. Kemi Olaleye l -Oye, Hon. Olabode Folorunso-Ilejemeje, Hon. Ibiloye Felicia- Moba.

 

Also on the list are; Hon. Gbenga Agbeyo- Ido-Osi, Hon. Kehinde Ajobiewe -Ekiti East, Hon. Femi Awe- Gbonyin, Hon. Kehinde Boluwade-Emure, Hon. Jimilas Kayode- Ise-Orun, Hon. Niyi Dolamu- Ikere, and Hon. Apolola Richard Sikira for Ekiti South West.
