Dr Wole Oluyede, a 2026 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial aspirant in Ekiti State, has congratulated Christians worldwide, especially in Ekiti, on Easter 2025.

In a message delivered on Sunday, April 20, through his spokesperson, Gani Salau, Oluyede urged embracing love, peace, and unity for sustainable development.

He described Easter as a sacred season of reflection, hope, and spiritual rebirth, saying, “This Easter celebration period reminds us of the sacrifice made by our Lord Jesus Christ… victory over death and light over darkness.” He noted that Christ’s resurrection offers lessons to combat betrayal and disunity.

Oluyede prayed for Ekiti’s peace and prosperity ahead of the 2026 election, urging PDP members to unite and prepare to win. He said, “This state is winnable for us if we put our house in order.” He also called for responsible celebrations and prayers for a peaceful election.
