Fast-rising Nigerian comedian Ekene Smith recorded a successful outing with his much-anticipated comedy show, Laff Supper with Ekene Smith & the 12 Disciples, held at Trinity House Zion Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event attracted families, comedy lovers and supporters of the entertainment industry, who enjoyed an evening of laughter and wholesome entertainment. Organised by the Ekene Smith Adigwu Youth Foundation with support from Trinity House, the show also focused on community impact and celebrating the season with families.

The event featured top comedians, including Efe Warri Boy, MC Shaggi, ATM, MC Laz, Abilitea, Arite and Odogwu, whose performances kept the audience entertained throughout the night.

Beyond comedy, the show also created opportunities for emerging talents, in line with the foundation’s vision of supporting and empowering young creatives in the entertainment space.

Speaking after the event, Ekene Smith expressed appreciation for the turnout and described the show as a successful blend of entertainment and purpose. He noted that the event achieved its goal of bringing people together, spreading joy, and giving back to the community.

The production was handled by Papumatic and earned praise from guests and participants.

Ekene Smith also revealed plans for the next edition of Laff Supper, scheduled for Easter Monday 2027, with expectations for it to be held in Nigeria or the United Kingdom.
