Eid- El-Fitr : MMPN felicitates Muslims, calls for prayers for Nigeria

The Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria(MMPN), Ekiti State chapter, has felicitated with Muslims in Ekiti State and the country on the celebration of Eid- El-Fitr, urging them to use the occasion to pray for peace, security and prosperity of the country.
A statement jointly signed by the State Coordinator, Alhaji Yaqoub Popoola and its Secretary, Alhaji Qosim Oladapo, on Wednesday, and provided to newsmen, said the completion of the 30 days mandatory Ramadan Fast had given  Muslims the opportunity to renew their relationships with their creator and extend love to their neighbours and less priviledged.
The statement read, ” we want to use this opportunity to give thanks to Allah, (SWT) for given us yet another grace to complete the 30 days mandatory spiritual exercise and to also celebrate another Eid-El-Fitri. We equally appreciate all those who supported and sponsored programmes during the just concluded Ramadan.
“We all must be grateful to Allah for being alive to witness the beginning and the ending of Ramadan. We urge.our Muslim brothers and sisters, particularly  those in the media space to always churn out contents that will promote peace, unity and progress of Nigeria. We should desist from promoting divisive agenda.
” Let us use the opportunity of the Sallah  festivity to pray and seek the face of Allah for peace, progress, and prosperity of our dear country.
“We should always seek divine intervention for our nation and the Sallah season provides such a unique opportunity to collectively seek the face of Allah through prayer.
” May Allah accept our prayers and usher in abundant blessings for the faithful and restore peace and prosperity to our dear country. Once again, we say Barka De Sallah and may we witness many more of the season.”
