Ifeoluwa Ehindero has emerged as the candidate of All Progressives Congress for the Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency House of Representatives by-election.
He emerged as the candidate by winning the party’s primary on Saturday.
He polled 105 votes to defeat David Makinde who polled just one vote.
The election, billed for February 3, would be conducted to fill the vacancy created by the appointment of Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as minister of interior by President Bola Tinubu.
