The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening institutional collaboration.
This was restated when the Acting Zonal Director of the EFCC Kaduna Zonal Directorate, Mr Bala Usman Kaltungo, paid a courtesy visit to the NDA Commandant, Major General AK Ibrahim, at the Academy headquarters, Afaka, on Thursday.
Mr Kaltungo, who led members of his management team and unit heads of the commission, said the visit was to strengthen the “existing cordial relationship” between the EFCC and the NDA. He congratulated Major General Ibrahim on his appointment as the 33rd Commandant of the Academy, describing it as a testament to his “exemplary leadership and service.”
“Our partnership with the NDA has been productive over the years. EFCC personnel have benefited greatly from military training activities at this Academy, and several of our officers are currently pursuing postgraduate degrees at the NDA Postgraduate School. This is a reflection of the enduring collaboration between our two institutions,” Mr. Kaltungo stated.
He also lauded the Armed Forces of Nigeria for their dedication to national security.

Responding, Major General Ibrahim expressed satisfaction with the EFCC’s operations and assured the commission of the NDA’s readiness to sustain and expand their cooperation.
“We value the partnership with the EFCC and will continue to support all efforts aimed at building capacity and entrenching discipline.
