The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday declared former Chairman of the now-defunct Pension Reformed Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina wanted over an alleged case of receiving stolen properties.
This is contained in a notice issued by Head, Media and Publicity of EFCC, Dele Oyewale.
According to the anti-graft commission, Maina, 61, hails from Biu, Borno State.

In January, reports emerged that the embattled ex-PRTT boss had been released from the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja, having been previously sentenced to an eight-year jail term by the Federal High Court.
In October 2019, the EFCC arraigned Maina on a 12-count charge bordering on money laundering to the tune of over N2 billion, to which the defendant pleaded not guilty.
Justice Okon Abang of the FHC sitting in Abuja convicted him in November 2021.
In Wednesday’s notice, the EFCC urged members of the public with information about his whereabouts to contact the commission or other security agencies.
