EFCC declares Enweremadu wanted for diversion of public funds, money laundering

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Christopher Enweremadu wanted over alleged involvement in criminal conspiracy, diversion of public funds, stealing, and money laundering.

Enweremadu, an indigene of Abia State, was last traced to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Umuahia, Abia State, the Commission said in its verified X on Wednesday.

The Commission urged members of the public with useful information on his whereabouts to report to any of its offices nationwide, including Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, and Abuja.

The EFCC also provided contact channels through its hotline, 08093322644, and email, [email protected], while calling on the public to liaise with the nearest police station or other security agencies if they have information that could aid his arrest.
