EFCC declares Abuja resident wanted over alleged money laundering

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared a 36-year-old man, Sunday Adejumo, wanted over his alleged involvement in criminal conspiracy and money laundering.

In a wanted notice signed by the Head of Media and Publicity of the Commission, Dele Oyewale, the anti-graft agency said Adejumo’s last known address is No. 14, Gongola Street, Area 2, Garki, Abuja.

The Commission urged members of the public with useful information on the suspect’s whereabouts to report to any of its offices nationwide, including those in Abuja, Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Ilorin, Enugu, Gombe, and Port Harcourt.

The EFCC also appealed to the public to contact the Commission through its dedicated telephone line or email address, or report to the nearest police station or other security agencies.

The Commission stated that the wanted notice is in connection with an alleged case of criminal conspiracy and money laundering involving the suspect.

Oyewale urged anyone with credible information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest to come forward.
