Three alleged internet fraudsters are currently being held at the holding facility of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Uyo Zonal Directorate.
EFCC Spokesman, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the development on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
He added that the all-male suspects were arrested during an early morning sting operation at Mbierebe, Stadium Road, Akpasak Estate, and Oron Road, all in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

“Items recovered from them include: four mobile phones, a desktop computer, a laptop, and two cars.
“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded,” Oyewale said.
