Officers of the Port Harcourt Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday arrested 31 internet fraud suspects at different locations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Commission spokesman Dele Oyewale confirmed this development in Abuja on Thursday.

According to him, the suspects were arrested following credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
“Items recovered from them include cars, smartphones, smart wristwatches and laptop computers.
“They will be charged to court upon conclusion of the investigation,” he said.
