Operatives of the Abuja Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 13 suspected internet fraudsters in Kubwa, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
EFCC Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the arrests on Thursday, April 24, stating that credible intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet-related activities led to the operation.

“Items recovered from the suspects include three laptops, 17 phones, and two cars,” Oyewale said.
“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.”
