Opata said: “It will be my joy that talents discovered in school sports will move to the next level. The government should be interested in talents produced from different school sports.
“Every year schools produce talents. The only challenge is that the government does not take it up there. In Ferscoat, this year we put in a lot of effort to ensure we have a perfect Inter-house sports to encourage our students.”
“Today, our school field has transformed into more than grass and track lines. It has become a theatre of courage, discipline, teamwork, and dreams in motion. Inter-house sport is not merely about races or trophies. It is about discovering strength you did know you had and cheering for others even as you chase your own victory.
“Sports teach lessons no classroom alone can provide. On this field, our students learn resilience when they fall and rise again. They learn unity when they run not just for themselves, but also for their house. They learn integrity when they compete fairly and celebrate graciously.”
