Nigerian-born education and technology advocate, Ademola Adeyemi-King, is pushing new frontiers in digital inclusion and workforce development, using technology to bridge gaps in education and job readiness in Nigeria, the United Kingdom and other emerging markets.

Adeyemi-King, the founder of AHDEM Education, has built a career around expanding access to digital skills, artificial intelligence (AI) training and workplace productivity tools, particularly for young people and underserved communities. His journey into education began as a home tutor in rural communities, an experience he said influenced his belief in education as a vehicle for social mobility.

“I started as a home tutor, moving from house to house in rural communities where resources were limited but the hunger for knowledge was immense,” he said. “Those early experiences taught me resilience and showed me that when knowledge meets opportunity, transformation happens.”

His work now spans education technology, digital marketing, skills training, and business consultancy under his umbrella brand, Ade-Impact. Through AHDEM Education, he leads student recruitment, EdTech adoption and professional skills training. His marketing firm, PostStudent Ltd, provides digital solutions for education institutions, while HouseClean Pro supports digital strategy development for property service businesses.

Adeyemi-King also runs Techy Tutors, a training platform focused on equipping professionals and organisations with AI tools for improved productivity. In partnership with The Camera Is Me, he supports youth coaching initiatives centred on digital literacy, life skills, and community-based learning.

According to him, more than 20,000 individuals across Nigeria and the UK have participated in his digital literacy programmes, AI training sessions, and entrepreneurship mentorship schemes. He noted that several beneficiaries, especially young people from rural areas, have transitioned into digital jobs or launched small businesses.

“Impact, to me, is evidence of change. When a young person from our programmes starts a business, or a worker uses AI to improve output, it shows progress”, he said.

His contributions have earned both local and international recognition. In 2023, he was named Best Sales Executive at Startimes. More recently, he received the Tech Education and Skills Development Leadership Award in the United Kingdom for advancing digital learning and workforce preparation.

He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership (FCIML, USA), in recognition of his leadership in education and organisational development.

“These recognitions are not just personal achievements. They validate the importance of the work and motivate us to scale solutions that close the digital skills gap.”

Adeyemi-King disclosed plans to expand his programmes across Africa, with emphasis on AI adoption, employability training and youth empowerment, aligning education with evolving global labour market demands.

“With AHDEM Education and Techy Tutors, we are scaling AI learning and workforce readiness. With The Camera Is Me, we are preparing young people to be future-ready,” he said.

From grassroots tutoring to leading digital education initiatives with global reach, Adeyemi-King’s work highlights the growing role of technology-driven learning in shaping Africa’s workforce and economic future.
