The Edo State Government has intensified efforts to attract local and foreign investors, highlighting opportunities in mining, agriculture, manufacturing, tourism, power, and the digital economy.
Commissioner for Business, Trade and Investment, Omoh Anabor, said the government was improving the business environment through digitisation, streamlined approvals, and measures to reduce bureaucratic bottlenecks and multiple taxation.
He identified Edo’s mineral deposits, agricultural commodities such as palm produce, cashew, rice, cassava, and pineapple, as well as its cultural and tourism assets, as major investment opportunities.
