The Edo State Council of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Caretaker Committee Chairman, Comrade Monday Igbafen, yesterday, said that his Committee would partner with all stakeholders of Labour in the State to resolve all grievances and conflicts that have bedeviled NLC in the state for better service delivery to workers.
He disclosed this in a statement made available to Journalists in Benin City.
Comrade Igbafen said henceforth, the NLC would be reformed to restore the dignity, welfare and rights of all workers in the State.

“NLC needs to be depoliticised to enable a seamlessly working relationship with every government in power in the State”, he said
He appealed to all affiliate unions of NLC in State to cooperate to bring about the desired solidarity among workers and a progressive and workers-driven leadership through credible election.
While paying glowing tribute to the nation’s outstanding labour leaders, including the great Pa Imoudu and the irrepressibly rugged Senator Adams Oshiomhole, Comrade Igbafen assured the Edo State Government of a robust collaboration to deliver its workers friendly policies.
