A governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Edo State governorship election, Mr Ernest Umakhihe, has appealed to the people of Orhionmwon to nominate him as the party’s flag bearer at the forthcoming party’s primaries to change the state’s narratives.
He made the appeal when he visited Orhionmwon to seek for their support to emerge victorious at the party’s primaries.
Umakhihe said the people of Orhionmwon is so blessed with a lot of gas adding that such could be harnessed to develop the state.
He added that some of the communities also have oil wells, and that he was ready to use the funds to develop the community alongside the government allocations.
“My elders, my sisters, my brothers, and my friends, today I have come to meet you people to nominate me for the governor of this state so that I can go into the primaries and win as a united front.
“I want you people to nominate me to bear the APC’s flag and contest in the governorship election.
Speaking on security, Umakhihe said that he is an expert in security strategy and has the blueprint for resolving the challenges.
“I know there is a security challenge here, and I have the blueprint to resolve it, and we will involve the traditional system in intelligence so that everybody can sleep with two eyes closed,” Umakhihe said.
Daily Sun reports that Umakhihe campaign train visited Abudu in Orhionmwon and Idogbo in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Areas, respectively.
