A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo Central Senatorial District, John Brai Aloye, has urged the governorship aspirant of the party, Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe to build on the legacy of the former governor of the state, Senator Adams Oshiomhole.
He made the appeal when the governorship aspirant visited them in the district after visiting other areas of the state.
Aloye said Umakhihe was eminently qualified for the job of governing the state, urging him not to forget the sacrifices of those who would make his aspiration come through.
On his part, Umakhihe the governorship aspirant of the party, reiterated that the mandate he sought was not about Edo South, Edo Central nor Edo North but the entire Edo people and the state as a whole
He noted that Edo State was richly blessed with all the natural resources, promising that he was going to attract investors to explore the mineral deposit in the area for the benefit of the people.
He emphasised that the health of the people would be priority as the primary health centre across the state would be upgraded with modern facilities which would be a first point of call for any health issues in the rural areas before taking such a case to the nearest hospital for adequate treatment.
The governorship aspirant also took his campaign train to Auchi, Estako West, Fugar, Estako Central and Agenebode Etsako East, respectively where he solicited for support ahead of the party’s primaries in the state.
