Edo APC chieftain, Idahosa, dies at 72

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State and former Commissioner for Information in Lucky Igbinedion’s administration, Hon Charles Idahosa, has passed on at 72.

Idahosa, who was an outspoken politician also served as political adviser to Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, during his eight-year tenure as governor.  

The circumstances of his death were hazy at press time as he was said to be full of life early yesterday.

Meanwhile, the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has condoled with the Idahosa Family of Ehor in Uhwumwode Local Government Area over the demise of its patriarch, Hon. Charles Idahosa aka Charly Tempo.

The governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Patrick Ebojele, expressed shock at the sudden passing of Hon. Idahosa and described him as a strong party leader and eminent Edo Indigene, who has given a lot for the growth and development of the state.
