The Management and Staff of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) have extended warm congratulations to their Director-General, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a goodwill message, the staff commended Dr. Abdullahi’s exemplary leadership style, describing him as a dependable manager of men and resources whose administration has continued to inspire confidence across the Commission.
They further described the ECN boss as a man of amiable character and deep sense of responsibility, noting his God-fearing disposition and commitment to service.
According to the staff, Dr. Abdullahi has demonstrated enviable leadership qualities through his significant contributions to the Commission and the energy sector at large, which has witnessed sustainable growth and progressive energy solutions under his stewardship.
“His unwavering dedication to duty and continuous improvements in staff welfare have remained a rallying point,” the statement read. “These efforts have encouraged staff, attracted admiration, and strengthened support for his policies in the overall interest of the sector.”
While wishing the indefatigable Director-General a happy birthday, the Management and Staff of the Energy Commission of Nigeria called on him to remain focused on his vision of taking the Commission to greater heights for the benefit of the nation.
They lauded him as a dedicated agent of the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that his leadership has revitalized staff morale and uplifted the Commission from near obscurity, despite its over four decades of existence.
The staff also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing a visionary and genuinely dedicated professional as Director-General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria. They recalled Dr. Abdullahi’s assurance upon assumption of office that, under his leadership, “the ECN will set the tone for economic development based on progressive innovation and policy initiatives, in line with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.”
