The Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate and Senator representing Ebonyi North, Onyekachi Nwebonyi, has commended Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, for his achievements in office.
Speaking at Iboko during the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) Mega Rally and Grand Finale of the 2026 Local Government Election Campaign, Nwebonyi said Nwifuru’s projects across the state have strengthened the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
He highlighted the governor’s overseas scholarship programme, road projects, royal palaces, and other infrastructure across Ebonyi State.
He also pointed to his own constituency projects, including concrete roads, scholarships for over 930 students, houses for widows and underprivileged persons, solar-powered street lights, and potable water projects.
“My concrete roads, scholarships, houses for widows and underprivileged persons, solar-powered street lights, and potable water projects are doing the consultations and campaigning for me.”
He praised Governor Nwifuru for creating more opportunities for women in leadership and commended the APC for presenting Mrs. Nnenna Helen Aduga as its chairmanship candidate for Izzi LGA.
He urged the people of Izzi to come out tomorrow and vote for all APC candidates.
