The Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti has called on citizens to draw inspiration from Christ’s love and sacrifice for the good of mankind.
Otti made the call to the people of Abia State on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.

In a release by the special adviser Media and Publicity to the Governor, Ferdinand Ekeoma, Governor Otti sent his message of love and solidarity to Abians, and gratitude to God for the privilege of being alive to once again commemorate the death and resurrection of the saviour of mankind, Jesus Christ, whose victory over death brought eternal hope to humanity.
Governor Otti reminded Abians on the need to draw inspiration from the Supreme and most memorable sacrifice made on the cross of Calvary by Jesus Christ to cleanse the sins of mankind, by continually embracing those Godly acts of altruism that contributed immensely in ensuring that Abia was recovered and restored to Abians.
Otti praised the courage and commitment of millions of men and women of the state who have shown great support and solidarity to his government in its quest to reposition the state and reassured Abians of his avowed resolve to resolutely continue his people-oriented programmes and projects aimed at completely rebuilding the state and restoring her glory.
