Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, has extended his heartfelt Easter wishes to Christians in Plateau and across the globe.
In a message signed by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, the Governor urged them to embrace the essence of love, sacrifice, and peace as embodied in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Mutfwang emphasized that Easter provides an invaluable opportunity to contemplate God’s plan for humanity’s salvation, fully realized through Christ’s resurrection.
He commended Christians who observed Lent, believing that the lessons learned have deepened their spiritual connection.
“I urge us to live out our faith in God and in our interactions with fellow citizens, not letting Easter pass as a mere ritual. Let it serve as a reminder of God’s boundless love, demonstrated through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ.
“With God’s help, we will overcome the challenges facing our state. Let us prioritize peace and collaborate to address our shared concerns.
“The Time Is Now to set aside our differences and leverage our diversity in Christ to build a peaceful, united, and prosperous Plateau for all.”
Mutfwang prayed for the resurrection’s transformative power to shine in Plateau and beyond.
