The Oloro of Oro Kingdom in Kwara State, His Royal Majesty Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye Olufayo II, has extended warm Easter greetings to Oro Kingdom residents and the broader Christian community.

In a statement issued on 20 April 2025, the monarch described Easter as a pivotal moment marking the culmination of Jesus Christ’s passion.

Oba Oyatoye highlighted the season’s themes of spirituality, love, selflessness, and unity, following the solemn Lenten period. He urged Christians to embrace Easter’s core values and reflect on God’s grace with modesty.

He stated: “On the occasion of this year’s Easter celebrations, I congratulate all sons and daughters of Oro Kingdom, both at home and across the globe.”

The monarch called for sustained peace and harmony in Oro Kingdom, encouraging collaboration for the development of the kingdom and Kwara State. He congratulated all Oro indigenes, both local and in the diaspora, on the festive occasion.
