Businessman and entertainer Emeka Okonkwo, often known as E-Money, expressed his displeasure after streamer Carter Efe damaged a car he had given him, calling the behaviour unnecessary and excessive.

The controversy erupted after Carter Efe and content creator Peller performed a livestream stunt on Saturday that damaged the vehicle.

E-Money addressed the problem on Sunday, when both streamers paid him a visit.

In a clip from the visit, E-Money said he was unhappy that the car he presented as a gesture of appreciation was wrecked in less than 24 hours. According to him, the gift was meant to recognise Carter Efe’s efforts and creative work.

“To be honest, I wasn’t happy about you guys destroying the car I gifted Carter Efe in less than 24 hours. I gave you the car because I appreciate what you’re doing,” he said.

The businessman further criticised the decision to go ahead with the destruction during a livestream, noting that many viewers were watching and could be influenced by such behaviour.

“You went overboard by destroying the car. You know, a lot of people were watching you. However, the mistake has already been made. I forgive you. But it should not happen again,” he added.

The incident has sparked conversations online, coming shortly after reports that Peller and Carter Efe damaged each other’s vehicles during the live broadcast.
