2020 Olympics: Buhari congratulates D’Tigers on FIBA win against China

D’Tigers forward, Devine Eke has signed to play for the reigning Nigerian league champions, Rivers Hoopers at the Basketball Africa League season four.

Eke was outstanding when he made his national team debut at the Afrobasket qualifiers held in Tunisia two months ago.

The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 22 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 5 assists in 3 games.

Eke has played in NCAA Division 1 for Radford Highlanders, Zunder Palencia in Spain, Acadêmica Efapel in Portugal, Netherlands Zeeuw & Zeeuw Feyenoord, and OKK Sloboda Tuzla in Bosnia.

The 28-year-old becomes Hoopers’ fourth import for the 2024 Basketball Africa League.

He will join the rest of the squad for the second phase of their training camp, which begins this week in Lagos.
