The driver of a waste compactor truck sustained injuries after his vehicle was rammed by a Ford mini bus in the Baruwa area of Lagos State.
It was learnt that the incident occurred at Abule Egun inward Baruwa early Wednesday.
The truck was reportedly parked by the road while its workers packed waste when the mini bus crashed into it.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) confirmed the incident in an X post at 7:25am.
According to the agency, the injured driver was rushed to a hospital for medical attention.
The agency said, “A road crash involving a waste compactor truck and a Ford mini bus at Abule Egun inward Baruwa.
“The compactor truck was reportedly parked by the road while it’s workers packed waste when the Ford mini bus rammed into it.
“The truck driver has been taken to the nearest hospital for medical attention while officers manage the traffic situation accordingly.
Traffic backlog has extended to Baruwa and beyond.”
