Dr Teal’s has rounded off the year with a vibrant celebration of wellness and culture at its Detty Experience Class of 2025, held on November 30 at the Monarch Event Centre, Lekki. The event brought together customers, influencers, and celebrities for an evening of relaxation, entertainment, and cultural appreciation.
Chinedu Okoye, Managing Director and CEO of Perfect Trust Beauty and Wellness, reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to customer wellbeing.
“Our vision is to care for our customers, who are the very reason we are in business,” he said, noting that the celebration was a way to appreciate loyal consumers and helping them unwind ahead of the New Year.
Okoye described the choice of an owambe–style celebration as a strategic nod to holistic wellness. “Wellness is about the state of the mind. We aim to create experiences that re-energise our customers and put them in a joyful, relaxed state,” he explained.
Strategy Director for Dr Teal’s Nigeria, Vivian Odofin Daniel, emphasised the brand’s focus on cultural relevance and accessibility.
“Wellness should not be a luxury; every Nigerian deserves it as a lifestyle,” she said, adding that the event was designed to help Nigerians “radiate and recover” after a challenging year.
Hosted by actress Shaffy Bello, the event featured traditional performances, a spa corner, a rich buffet of local and continental dishes, and spontaneous testimonials from customers who praised the brand’s calming bath products. The celebration also attracted prominent personalities, including BBNaija alumna Zita, style icon Denrele Edun, and Dr Mark Akhabue of Jendol Supermarkets.
Fashion took centre stage with Simi Odunikan and Alvin of Lagos emerging as first and second runners-up in the Best Dressed competition.
