Every leader has a story. But Honorable David Olofu’s story is not just about politics, it is about service, sacrifice, and an unshakable commitment to the people of Zone C.
Born and raised in the heart of Benue South, David Olofu grew up witnessing both the struggles and the greatness of his people. He saw farmers wake before dawn to provide food for the nation, yet remain poor. He saw young people dream of opportunities but face closed doors. He saw communities with strength and potential, but with leadership that often forgot them.
Instead of turning away, he chose to step forward.
From the early days of his career, Olofu committed himself to public service, quickly earning a reputation as a leader who listens, understands, and delivers. As a public servant, he became known for three things: Financial discipline without compromising development. Human empowerment that changes real lives not just statistics . Transparent leadership grounded in integrity and accountability.
But his story did not end in government offices or reports. It continued in the streets of Otukpo, in the farmlands of Oju, Ogbadigbo, in the markets of Okpokwu, and in the villages across Agatu, Ado, Obi, and Ohimini.
It continued in every handshake, every town hall, every promise kept.

Now, Hon. David Olofu seeks to represent Zone C in the Senate not because of ambition, but because the people deserve a voice that carries their truth, their struggles, and their hopes to Abuja.
He is running under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), a party that represents clean politics, fresh ideas, and a new direction for our democracy.
