Nollywood veteran Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde was in no mood for niceties after she was irked by an interviewer, warning him against touching her.
A video showing the tense moment Jalade-Ekeinde loses her cool while the interviewer fumbles for the right words has gone viral on social media.
While introducing the red carpet moment for the Miss Nigeria 2026 competition, the interviewer puts the microphone in the mouth of the actress, expecting her to say her name.
Annoyed, Jalade-Ekeinde queries him on why she should be the one to say her name.
“I should tell you my name. You’re not ready,” she says in the clip, after which she makes as if to stroll away, leaving the young man trying to convince her he knows who she is.
In a second clip, both parties seem to have decided to start afresh, but the interviewer repeats the act of prompting the movie star to say her name.
Deciding that she has had enough, Jalade-Ekeinde walks away with a warning, “Don’t touch me.”
