The spokesperson to Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state, Olawale Rasheed, has described as ‘untrue,’ claims that the governor’s elder sister, Modupeola Adeleke-Sanni, was involved in the purchase of official vehicles for Local Government Caretaker Chairmen in the state.

He accused the opposition of attempting to drag ‘Yeye Dupe’ as popularly known into ‘what she knows nothing about.’

Rasheed explained that the vehicles were purchased through the association of the local government and due process was followed.

Due process was followed through the Association Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), their umbrella body, in purchasing those vehicles. Yeyeluwa Adeleke-Sanni was not in any way involved in the entire process.
